Yield Congratulations 2024
To commemorate the regular decision acceptances for the incoming class of #Cornell2028, I curated reaction videos from individuals who received acceptance letters from Cornell. Utilizing these submissions, I crafted a reel tailored for Instagram. The reel was designed to evoke a sense of personal connection and genuine emotion by featuring authentic reactions. This approach resonated deeply with alumni and parents, eliciting comments about how it captured the essence of the moment and stirred memories for them.
Snowfall at Cornell
I filmed and edited this reel to encapsulate the enchanting snowfall and the winter charm of Cornell’s campus. Reels that portray the environment in a romanticized manner and highlight the beauty of the location tend to resonate strongly on Instagram, as they offer easily consumable content and enable viewers to immerse themselves in the scene. These reels specifically target our alumni community, providing them with an opportunity to nostalgically reminisce about their experiences on campus during Ithaca's harsh winters.
Welcome #Cornell2027
For acceptance day in 2023, I compiled footage provided by Cornell’s Multimedia team to craft a cohesive reel highlighting the diverse experiences and vibrant community awaiting the incoming class. Beginning with a chronological depiction of the seasons they will encounter, followed by key campus events leading up to graduation, I curated these clips with deliberate sequencing to offer accepted students a glimpse into their potential journey ahead.
Study spots at Cornell
I utilized user-generated engagement to curate a selection of cherished study spots at Cornell. Leveraging this insight, I filmed at these locations to produce a reel showcasing some of iconic campus locations. By capitalizing on Instagram users' affinity for this type of content, I edited the reel to be visually captivating and easily digestible. Moreover, the simplicity of the topic encourages community engagement in the comments section, with current students and alumni sharing their favorite study spots, fostering lively discussion and connection within the Cornell community.
Move-in 2023
Move-In Day marks a pivotal moment in Cornell's annual calendar, serving as a key touchstone for the start of Fall semester. In anticipation of this momentous occasion and to extend a warm welcome to incoming freshmen, I curated and edited footage from our Multimedia team. The result is an engaging and energetic reel tailored for Instagram, showcasing captivating aerial views of the dormitories awaiting our newest cohort of Cornellians.
Wes Anderson Trend (Cornell’s Version)
Inspired by the Wes Anderson Trend, I collaborated with two other people on my team to create Cornell’s version. In my role, I spearheaded student outreach for casting, curated the talent lineup, assisted in storyboard development, and directed the project to fruition.
